 Port-au-Prince, Saturday, September 30, 2017: The President of the Republic, His Excellency Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by the Minister of Environment Pierre Simon Georges and the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development (MARNDR), Agr. Carmel André Belliard, and local authorities, this Saturday, September 30, 2017, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a third center of germplasm and plant propagation in Marfranc, department of Grand’Anse .

 This infrastructure, built under the patronage of the Presidency of the Republic, is made up of a wide range of fruit and forest trees to be used in the improvement of the country’s vegetation cover.

 President Jovenel Moïse, who continues to believe that the development of our lands throughout the national territory is a salvation plan for national development, reaffirmed the will of his administration to multiply these nurseries in all the departments of the country to improve our ecosystem which is in a rather precarious situation.
