MC was my hero like 10-15 years ago. She was on top of the world and could sing anything in any range. However, lately I’ve noticed she really really… Well, I have always watched her closely, and she used to sing flawlessly. She nailed everything. She doesn’t see that anymore. I saw the MJ performance…
I mean she doesn’t DO that anymore.
If it were just the MJ Memorial Service, I might agree that she was emotional. BUT, her last several « live » performances have been horrible. She keeps holding that hand in the air struggling to sing those high notes and that ain’t helping either. Might just be getting older, she might drink or smoke undercover, but something is going on, because « Live » she just doesn’t have control of her voice anymore. Anybody can be made to sound good in a studio….
I was just asking myself this same question. She used to sing effortlessly, and that is what made her so awesome. She struggled at the MJ memorial, and the last few times I’ve seen her perform on t.v. Thats not the old MC at all.
She can sing!
